“We (are) expecting a pretty good crowd,” said Jason Bauer, of the Oakland County Democratic Party.
Participating
restaurants so far are Beans & Cornbread of Southfield, the Royal
Kubo of Clawson, Boodles of Madison Heights, Brady’s Tavern of Beverly
Hills, Cafe Muse of Royal Oak, Catfish Corner of Pontiac, Chef Cari
Kosher Catering of Oak Park, Club Venetian, Diane’s Delights of Madison
Heights, Franklin Grill & Tavern of Franklin, Grandad’s Sweet Tea,
Jalapenos of Pontiac, JD’s Seafood of Royal Oak, La Marsa of Farmington
Hills, Lazy Bones Smokehouse of Roseville, Rangoli of Auburn Hills,

Democrats are a narrow
minority on the 25-member county commission, and we hope to hang on
to the 12 seats we have and pick up another to shift the balance of
power away from the Republicans after November’s election.
